But, I have to say so did the frugal simple pile of hand grated raw carrots dressed lightly with lemon vinaigrette.
At the bottom of my farmers’ market stash, I set out to grate Crazy Mike's chubby sweet carrots.
Yes, I could have used the processor, but jagged carrots are charming here.
The restaurant tops their salad with flax seeds.
I tossed in some parsley.
Then, whisked together Lemon Vinaigrette.
Crunchy, sweet and satisfying; this salad is welcome on any menu board.
Although Bastille Day arrives on the Fourteenth of July, be fashionably early and serve it on the Fourth. Celebrate America!
